Problem Description

There are many metrics by which equity can be quantified including job opportunities, income equality, and access to public resources. This project/challenge focuses on the latter by considering the availability of green space as a function of position. The basic question to answer given the data provided is: do New Yorker's in the outer boroughs have equivalent access to public parks, playgrounds, etc. compared to those in Manhattan and how do the individual boroughs compare with each other? Particularly useful data sets will likely be PLUTO and maps of properties overseen by the NYC Department of Parks & Recreation.
